Kanan Gill
About
An extremely popular stand-up comedian, Kanan Gill is best known for the YouTube series, Pretentious Movie Reviews, where he reviews Bollywood films along with fellow stand-up comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath.
He was one of the main personalities behind the YouTube Comedy Hunt & also co-hosted the YouTube FanFest India. He made his debut on the big screen with the movie Noor (2017).
In 2017, he released his own one-hour comedy special, Keep It Real on Amazon Prime Video. In 2018, Kanan was part of a panel of judges in Comicstaan, a nine episode series on Amazon Prime video, to mentor and find India’s next comic sensation.

A former software engineer, he took to comedy as a career after winning a competition called Punchline Bangalore followed by another win at The Comedy Store in Mumbai.
Kanan also features sporadically on projects created by his friends and colleagues, notably on Better Life Foundation, a web series by Them Boxer Shorts, as well as on many other sketches and videos created or hosted by fellow comedians
He has toured all over India & sold out over a 1000 shows with his one-hour special, ‘Feelings With Kanan‘ & also worked in an Improv sketch comedy show, The Living Room, on Comedy Central.
